Three laptops were stolen from the management office of a downtown apartment building over the course of less than 24 hours.
Rochester police said two burglary incidents occurred in the office for the 501 First Avenue Southwest Apartment building between 11 a.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday.
On Sunday, the apartment manager reported to police that he had gone into the office shortly after 11 a.m. and noticed his laptop was missing. A review of surveillance footage showed someone entering the office around 11 a.m. and leaving with the laptop, according to Capt. Casey Moilanen.
On Monday, a report was made about 7:30 a.m. that two other laptops were stolen from the office. Surveillance video showed people entering the office between 1 and 3:45 a.m.
There were no signs of forced entry. The incidents are under investigation.
