Dodge-Fillmore-Olmsted Community Corrections has a new director.

Nikki Niles, a former probation officer and current program manager for DFO Community Corrections’ new Diversity, Equity and Community Outreach, has been chosen to lead the department.

Niles will assume her new role on May 24. The position was vacated earlier this year when Travis Gransee was named Olmsted County Deputy Administrator of Health, Housing, and Human Services.

Niles has been with Olmsted County since April 2012. In that time she has served as a probation officer and, in 2018, helped develop the Olmsted County Pretrial Program. Her new position creates a vacancy in the leadership of Olmsted County’s Diversity, Equity and Community Outreach and Pretrial Services teams. That program manager position will be posted and filled as soon as possible.

In her new role, Niles will oversee all services and programming within the scope of the department including probation and supervised release for both adults and juveniles and Olmsted County Drug Court, Pretrial Services and Community Outreach.
