A 19-year-old man was injured Saturday in a fight at a Marion Township convenience store.
Olmsted County Sheriff's deputies took a report from the man about 4:15 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies were called to Jeff's Little Store about 2:50 p.m. about a fight in the parking lot. By the time they arrived, everyone involved in the fight had left the area, according to Olmsted County Sgt. James Schueller.
Less than two hours later, the 19-year-old man called to report that he needed medical attention for an assault that occurred at the Marion Township convenience store. The man was calling from a northwest Rochester residence.
The man told deputies that an argument began between two or three groups at the store and that people had punched and kicked him. The incident remains under investigation.
