A former Rochester high school tennis coach has been fired from a high school coaching job following his arrest as part of an undercover internet child enticement investigation in Wisconsin.

Kevin Rust, 59, of Minnetonka, is facing charges of use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, child enticement and attempt sexual assault of a child younger than 16 years of age.

The Star Tribune reported that Rust was fired earlier this week from his position as the elite boys tennis coach at Benilde-St. Margaret’s, a private Catholic prep school in St. Louis Park, after the school learned of the charges.

In Rochester, Rust coached boys and girls tennis at Lourdes for nearly three decades in the 1980s, ’90s and 2000s.

Rust has coached at Benilde-St. Margaret’s for the last three years, the Star Tribune reported.
