Curtis Lyle Fossum -- Preston

PRESTON -- The funeral for Curtis Lyle Fossum will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony. Burial will be in Greenfield Lutheran Cemetery, with military honors by Gustav Berg Post No. 81.

Mr. Fossom, 78, of Preston, died Monday (Jan. 24, 2005) at his home.

He was born Feb. 12, 1926, in rural Spring Grove, attended local schools and joined the Navy in April 1944. He was employed in farming and later worked in maintenance for the city of Canton.

Survivors include three brothers, Robert (Joyce) of Canton, Arden of Mabel and Richard of Preston; and two sisters, Janice (Vernon) Soland of Pine Island and Doris (Darrell) McCabe of Lanesboro. A son, three brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
