A motorcyclist from Rochester was hurt Friday night when a driver made a U-turn in front of him and the two vehicles collided.
Gerald W. Tesch, 44, was listed in serious condition at Saint Marys Hospital this morning, a Mayo Clinic spokeswoman said.
Tesch was northbound on Marion Road at Whynaught Court, just southeast of the Rochester city limits.
A car driven by Sridhar Somasundharam, 38, of Rochester, was making a U-turn after missing a turn-off onto another street, the Olmsted County Sheriff's Department reports. Somasundharam was not injured.
