PLAINVIEW -- The funeral for Dana John Thompson II, 3-month-old son of Dana J. Thompson and Sara F. Peterson of Plainview, will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel. He died Sunday (Oct. 24, 2004) at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.
He was born July 20, 2004, in Edina, Minn. The family moved to Plainview two months ago.
In addition to his parents, survivors include three sisters, Caitlin and Jordanna Thompson, both of Minneapolis, and Ella Thompson of Plainview; maternal grandmother, Susie F. (John) O'Malley of Utica; paternal grandmother, Barbara Sommerville of Minneapolis; maternal great-grandparents, Norman and Bonnie Anderson of Albert Lea and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Peterson of Cosmos, Minn.; and paternal great-grandfather, Harry J. Nelson of Richfield, Minn. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandfathers and paternal great-grandmother.
Friends may call an hour before the service Friday at the funeral home.
