ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- A Big Lake woman has been sentenced to two months in jail for leaving children in her daycare alone while she went to work.
Mayuli Bales, 37, pleaded guilty to three counts of gross misdemeanor child neglect for leaving two 2-year-olds alone while she interpreted for an English as a Second Language class.
The neglect was discovered in February when a parent of one of the two children arrived at Bales' house unannounced to pick up her child.
