Rushford-Peterson turned its stingy defense on Chatfield and won 42-27 in a Three Rivers Conference girls basketball game at Rushford on Saturday night.
Rushford-Peterson improved to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the TRC. The Trojans are allowing less than 30 points per game so far. Chatfield is 1-2 overall and in the TRC.
Hali Richardson led R-P with 12 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists. Amber Snyder scored 11, and MacKenzie Halverson had six assists and five steals. Chatfield's two leading scorers had six points each.
