Dennis L. Delaney -- Rochester

ROCHESTER -- A memorial Mass for Dennis L. Delaney will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Rochester, with the Monsignor Gerald Mahon officiating. A memorial service with military honors will be July 14 in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in Point Loma, Calif. The body was cremated.

Mr. Delaney, 61, of San Diego, formerly of Rochester, died Friday (June 6, 2003) from complications of a heart condition.

He was born Jan. 10, 1942, in Rochester. He attended Lourdes High School, and then served in the Navy for three years.

Survivors include a daughter, Patti Delaney of San Diego; two sons, Michael of San Diego, and Timothy of St. Louis; a brother, Francis "Pooky" of Rochester; and two sisters, Mary (Gary) Plank of Rochester, and Theresa (Dan) Fogarty of Mazeppa.

There will be no visitation.
