Three shootings over four week period in Mower County sent seven people to the hospital with bullet wounds this winter.
Two men are facing a March trial for the incident that saw a woman shot in the face on Nov. 8, while three men face charges for a drive-by shooting that allegedly featured a man returning shots from a black Escalade with a rifle in his front yard on Dec. 3.
While arrests in both of those alleged crimes were made within hours, details have been slow to emerge in the Nov. 10 shooting that occurred at Lansing Corners event center just north of Austin and sent five to the hospital. Attendees at the rap album release party have been reticent to share first-person accounts since authorities have deemed it a gang-related shooting that may prompt retaliation.
However, a clearer image has started to come into focus in recent weeks.
