Diane S. Adams -- Zumbro Falls

ZUMBRO FALLS -- The funeral for Diane S. Adams will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mazeppa, with the Rev. Robert Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Prairie Dale Cemetery in rural Zumbro Falls.

Mrs. Adams, 61, of Zumbro Falls, a lifelong area resident, died Friday evening (Nov. 12, 2004) at Lake City Hospital-Mayo Health System.

Diane Susan Morrissey was born Jan. 5, 1943, in Red Wing and attended Adams District 59 elementary school in rural Zumbro Falls. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Lake City in 1960 and was named Wabasha County Dairy Princess that year. She attended Red Wing Vo-Tech in 1986. In October 1962, she married Frank Radke, and they later divorced. She married Dallas G. Adams on Aug. 10, 1991. She was a life member of the Zumbro Falls VFW Auxiliary, and was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mazeppa, the church women's group and the Zumbro Falls Lioness Club. Her interests included humming birds, antiques, jewelry, gardening, puzzles, playing cards, reading and animals.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Lanette (Jeff) Heisler of Lake City and Lisa Bramble of Pine Island; a son, Brandon Radke of Oronoco; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Roger (Bonnie) Morrissey and Arnold Morrissey, both of Zumbro Falls.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel and an hour before the service Wednesday at the church.
