If the smarm of kids who overran this place on a recent night reflected the crowds coming here with any regularity, then owner Mitch Glynn of Grand Meadow hit the jackpot last month when he opened the only pizza place in Rochester geared specifically toward children.

Think of Leo's as scaled-down version of places like Chuck E. Cheese: It has a play area for young kids, a small arcade and a costumed mascot who emerges from time to time to dance and mug for pictures.

It's definitely not the place to go for a romantic dinner for two, but for kids in Rochester, this is the place to go right now for birthday parties . "We have people calling for dates out into April already," Glynn said.
