Located inside the Marriott Hotel in downtown Rochester, the Oak Room offers three menus, each with a range from posh to traditional American dishes.
The lunch and dinner menus include a "spa" portion with several selections (such as a turkey and tomato foccacia sandwich or cedar roasted salmon) for diet-conscious eaters. The spa menu discloses calories, protein, cholesterol, carbohydrates, fat and sodium.
Hours
Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
Value
Each of the three menus -- breakfast, lunch and dinner -- offers a price range of selections, from, for example, a classic club three decker (served with potato chips, choice of bread and jicama slaw) for $7.95 to a walleye pike entree (almond flour sautéed,; served with tropical fruit relish, house salad, fresh vegetable, rice or potato, rolls and butter) for $17.95.

Atmosphere
The pretty dining room features cherry-wood chairs and tables, decorated with white table cloths and cloth napkins, outfitted with a red flower, accented by green plants and flower pots that line the wall. All this gives the Oak Room a classy ambiance, fit for casual get-togethers, special occasions or business.
