Dolly Jane Johnson -- Lyle

LYLE -- The funeral for Dolly Jane Johnson will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lyle, with the Rev. Barbara Finley-Shea officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery in Austin.

Mrs. Johnson, 58, of Lyle, died Thursday (May 5, 2005) at her home.

Dolly Gordon was born Feb. 12, 1947, in Mason City, Iowa. She married John Johnson on Jan. 9, 1970, in Mason City, and they lived in the Lyle area for 35 years. A member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, she enjoyed cards, cooking and baking.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Todd (Christena) of Austin and Matthew of Burnsville, Minn.; one daughter, Debi (Kevin) Kinny of Litchfield, Minn.; seven grandchildren; one sister, Judy (Ronald) Yaggy of Rochester; and one brother, Gerald Gordon of Crescent City, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and at the church one hour prior to the service Monday.
