Donald G. Rother — Hastings, Minn.

ROCHESTER — The funeral Mass for Donald G. Rother was at 10 a.m. today at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings, Minn. Interment was in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Rother, 82, a former co-owner of Skelly Oil Station and a former postal carrier in Hastings, died Thursday (Sept. 6, 2007).

He was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Hastings.

Survivors include three sisters, Evelyn Rother of Oakland, Calif., Betty (Jack) McCoy of Hastings and Jane (Bob) Toddie of Rochester. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home of Hastings assisted with arrangements.
