ROCHESTER -- The funeral for Dorothy L. Lebeck will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ranfranz &; Vine Funeral Homes in Rochester, with the Rev. Sam Dull officiating.
Mrs. Lebeck, 77, of Rochester, a lifetime resident of Olmsted County, died Sunday (July 27, 2003) at Season's Hospice in Rochester.
Dorothy Lou Underwood was born June 17, 1926, in Rochester and graduated from Rochester High School in 1944. She worked in the office of Montgomery Ward Company. On April 14, 1947, she married Ronald P. Lebeck in Rochester. Mr. Lebeck was a Rochester Post Office employee and died March 7, 1977. A longtime member of Homestead United Methodist Church, Mrs. Lebeck taught Sunday School and Bible School. She was a Girl Scout and Brownie Scout leader and a member of the executive board of Washington School PTA.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Sue (Walt) McCullen of Annapolis, Md., and Betty Ann (Joe) Book of Rochester; and one son, Donald G. of Roseville, Minn. A brother preceded her in death.
