EYOTA — Dover-Eyota High School will celebrate the graduation of 78 students Sunday. Commencement begins at 1:30 p.m. in the school gymnasium.
The valedictorian is Kyle Tamminga, son of Scott and Linda Tamminga. He has been involved in football, wrestling, Peer Helpers, Teens as Leaders, concert/pep band, National Honor Society and Boy Scouts. He plans to attend either Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill., or the University or Minnesota-Morris to study pre-medicine and biology.
Heather Pries is the salutatorian. The daughter of Tom and Jeanette Pries, she has been involved in band, choir, Peer Helpers, TAL, basketball, track and field, National Honor Society and other activities. Pries plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
