The Rendezvous sport-utility introduced in the 2001 model year has done wonders in slowing the aging process at Buick.
The automaker says the average age of a Buick buyer before Rendezvous was 69. But with the average age of Rendezvous buyers at 54 years, the average age of a Buick buyer is now 57.
For the record, the youngest Rendezvous buyer to date is 19, the oldest 90.

To differentiate the Cadillac CTS with a 3.6-liter, 255-horsepower or 3.2-liter, 220-h.p. V-6 from the Cadillac CTS V-Series coming out this year with a 5.7-liter, 400-h.p. V-8, the V-Series will feature a mesh grille, according to Jim Taylor, vehicle line executive for the V-Series.
Oh, and "the V-Series will have suede inserts in the leather seats to keep folks in place during high-performance driving," he said.
