A Rochester man was injured early this morning when his car struck a concrete bridge barrier on an exit ramp from U.S. 52 and landed upside down.
Mohamed H. Hersi, 31, still was being evaluated for injuries at Saint Marys Hospital this morning, a Mayo Clinic spokeswoman said.
His auto was leaving U.S. 52 at the 19th Street Northwest exit a little before 4 a.m. when the accident occurred, the State Patrol reports.
The car left the roadway and drove onto the left sidewalk, the patrol said. It hit the concrete barrier and rolled onto its top, according to the patrol’s account.
