Edgar A. ‘Pete’ Feine — Rushford

RUSHFORD — The funeral for Edgar A. "Pete" Feine will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hart, with the Rev. David Preuss officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Hart.

Mr. Feine, 68, of Rushford, died Monday (June 18, 2007) at Gundersen-Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wis.

Born April 20, 1939, in Rushford, he grew up on his family’s farm in Hart. He attended Rushford High School. On Aug. 25, 1956, he married Carol Erdmann in Hart. He farmed on the family farm until 1971, when he moved to Rushford. He worked for Minnesota Farm Builders, worked construction on his own, and drove a truck for Lewiston Feed and Produce until his retirement in 2005. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Rushford and enjoyed camping, fishing with his sons, hunting at Walters, and spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jeffrey (Red) of Caledonia and Kevin (Beth) of Lewiston; a daughter, Kimberley (Douglas) Pagel of Albert Lea; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen (Robert) Evenson and Carol Wilson, both of Rushford. He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hoff Funeral Homes-Rushford Chapel, and an hour before the service Friday at the church.


The family prefers memorials to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Rushford.
