OBITUARY CORRECTIONS Edith Amelia Kramer, 95, of Dodge Center, died Monday evening (Sept. 13, 2004) at Fairview Nursing Home. Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, Dodge Center.

DODGE CENTER -- The funeral for Edith Amelia Kramer will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Seventh Day Baptist Church in Dodge Center, with the Rev. Dale Rood officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.

Mrs. Kramer, 95, a longtime Dodge Center resident, died Tuesday evening (Sept. 13, 2004) at Fairview Nursing Home in Dodge Center where she had lived since January 2001.

Edith Amelia Langworthy was born June 22, 1909, in Ashland Township, Dodge County, was in an incubator in Minneapolis for the first three months of her life and was baptized in the Zumbro River in 1919. She graduated from Dodge Center High School in 1927. On June 22, 1932, she married Walter Kramer at the family home in Dodge Center. He died in 1961. Mrs. Kramer had lived in Dodge Center since 1971 and worked at Gauerke's Department Store for some time. She was a member at Seventh Day Baptist Church where she was a deaconess.

Survivors include two sons, Wallace (Donna) of Rochester and Gary (Karen) of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Vicki Clemenson of St. Paul; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters, including her twin.


Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center and an hour before the service Friday at the church.
