Early voting has been brisk in the Rochester Public Schools’ two-question $180.9 million bond referendum.
The bond question is the only item on the Tuesday general election ballot. As of Thursday, more than 1,400 voters had cast a ballot in either early voting or by absentee ballot, said Heather Bestler, Olmsted County’s property tax and elections manager..
Early voting at the Edison Building, which houses the school district offices, began Sept. 20.
Absentee ballots will be accepted through 5 p.m. Monday. Ballots can be cast at Edison until 4:45 p.m. Monday. On Election Day, Tuesday, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
