From staff reports
Shortfalls in Minnesota's electric grid and plans for transmission lines will be topics at a July 22 meeting at Rochester Public Utilities.
Representatives from area utilities will discuss the five-year plans for transmission lines, and the public and government officials will be able to comment. A summary of the comments will be part of a biennial state transmission plan submitted to the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission on Nov. 1.
The meeting is at 7 p.m. at the RPU offices, 400 East River Road N.E. and is open to the public. No advance registration is necessary.
