Elgin-Millville's Terese Dick used a strong kick over the final 500 meters Tuesday to win the girls portions of a cross country meet at Lake City.
Dick overcame Hayfield's Sara Halverson to win in 15 minutes, 33 seconds. Winona Cotter was the team winner with 50 points.
La Crescent was the boys team winner with 24 points.
