HARMONY — Evelyn J. Seegmiller, 84, a lifelong resident of Winneshiek County, Iowa, died April 1, 2008, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wis. She had suffered a stroke on March 31.
For the past five years, Mrs. Seegmiller had been a resident at the Harmony Healthcare Center.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary (Mervin) Sears of Harmony; two grandsons; a great-granddaughter; and a stepgreat-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Telford Seegmiller, on March 23, 1990, and two sisters.
Private funeral services for Mrs. Seegmiller were held at Decorah Lutheran Church in Decorah, Iowa. Interment was in Locust Cemetery.
Fjelstul Funeral Home of Decorah handled the arrangements.
