Cancellations continue for area sports teams with the spring season temporarily on hold.
The Riverland softball team was supposed to play a make-up doubleheader with Dakota County Technical College on Tuesday, but it’s been pushed back to a later date. The twinbill at Rochester, which was scheduled for today, has also been postponed.
There is still a possibility that the Lady Blue Devils softball team may yet play scheduled home dates on Friday and Saturday. Riverland is supposed to play MSCTC-Fergus Falls at home on Friday, and Ridgewater at home on Saturday afternoon.
The Riverland baseball team has also been the victim of weather-related postponements. A previously scheduled trip to La Crosse, Wis., for today has now been called off.

Instead, the doubleheader against Western Wisconsin Technical College has been tentatively rescheduled for Thursday in Austin at the old college field. The Blue Devils baseball team also has home games scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Seltz Field.
The Lyle/Austin Pacelli baseball and softball teams had both of its scheduled games called off for this week. The season was supposed to open for both sports on Tuesday, but those games have been rescheduled.
The season openers for both Lyle/Pacelli baseball and softball have now been pushed back to next week.
