Pond/River Study will be held at 9 a.m. at Oxbow Park. Learn about the aquatic life in local streams and ponds. Bring old tennis shoes and shorts to wear in the water. Recommended for ages 10 and up.

Eyota Days runs through July 20 and features a summer arts camp, treasure hunt, pedal tractor pull, petting zoo, food, hay rides and home run derby. Family Fun Night is from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday with a youth dance at 8 p.m. The grand parade is 11 a.m. Saturday. A street dance at 8:30 p.m. with music by Booker Mini.

Storytime Adventures! is offered each Monday and Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Barnes &; Nobles Apache Mall. Also Reading With Roxie is offered at 7 p.m. each Monday and Wednesday.

Bedtime Stories for young children and their parents will begin at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Rochester Public Library. No registration required. Parents are invited to remain with their children. Theme is "Silly Stories."

Dodge County Free Fair in Kasson runs through July 20. Concerts, rodeo, motocross, demo derby and stockcar races. Information: (507) 634-7736.

Rushford Days in Rushford through July 20. Festivities begin with a Queen Pageant on Wednesday, continue with dances and other events Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and end with a tractor pull and parade on Sunday.

The films "Frog Where Are You" and "Frog on His Own" will be shown at 10 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. in the Rochester Public Library Auditorium.

At Austin Public Library -- Toddler Time, for children under 3 years, begins at 9:30 a.m. Preschool Story Time, for children ages 3 to 6 years, is held at 10 a.m. and again at 4:30 p.m.

Story Time is offered each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Pied Piper bookstore in Miracle Mile, Rochester.
