FAMILY TIME CALENDAR Saturday, June 21

Children's Zoo Hour will begin at 1 p.m. at Oxbow Park. Myths about wild animals will be dispelled and factual information will be given. Participants can touch a real snake. For all ages.

"Dragon Magic" opens at 7 p.m. the Masque Youth Theatre, 14 Fourth St. S.W. in Rochester. The play continues at 3 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Tickets: $10 adults, $8 students and seniors. Reservations: 287-0704.

Junior Skate Session from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for skaters 12-years-old and younger at Board to Death Sports, 8 Fourth St. S.W. in Rochester. Admission: $10, $5 with membership.

Monday, June 23

Storytime Adventures! is offered each Monday and Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Barnes &; Nobles Apache Mall. Also Reading With Roxie is offered at 7 p.m. each Monday and Wednesday.

Tuesday, June 24

Bedtime Stories for young children and their parents will begin at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Rochester Public Library. No registration required. Parents are invited to remain with their children. Theme is "Taking a Walk."

Wednesday, June 25

At Austin Public Library -- Toddler Time, for children under 3 years, begins at 9:30 a.m. Preschool Story Time, for children ages 3 to 6 years, is held at 10 a.m. and again at 4:30 p.m.

Story Time is offered each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Pied Piper bookstore in Miracle Mile, Rochester.

Schiffelly Puppets will present "The Wonderfully Wacky Wizard of Oz" at 10 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. in the Rochester Public Library Auditorium.

Friday, June 27

Story Time for young children begins at 10 a.m. at Barnes and Noble bookstore in the Galleria. Information: 288-3848.

Saturday, June 28

Snake Feeding will be held at 10 a.m. at Oxbow Park. Participants will learn how snakes survive in the wild. For all ages.

Fun in the Lake at Chester Woods Park begins at 2 p.m. at the kiosk in the boat ramp parking lot. For all ages. Requirements are that participants get muddy and have fun. Dress appropriately.
