Sunday, Feb. 13

Pancake Breakfast will be from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Byron American Legion Hall. The breakfast is a fund-raiser for the Byron freshman Washington D.C. class trip. $5 per person, children 3 and under are free.

KidsFest will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rochester Community and Technical College Heintz Center. Games, crafts, stage shows and raffle, plus Ronald McDonald! Admission is $5 with a canned food donation for children ages 2 and up; $6 with no food donation. No charge for adults or children under 2. Proceeds go to Rochester Ronald McDonald House.

Monday, Feb. 14

Pipsqueaks indoor playground for children kindergarten-age and younger is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the gymnasium at the United Way of Olmsted County Inc., 903 West Center Street in Rochester. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Cost is $2 per child per day; $5 for up to 4 children per day. Information: or call 281-6160. Pipsqueaks offers young children a safe, clean place to play during the long winter months. Parents and children can share in activities and meet with existing play groups. It is staffed and maintained by the Rochester Park &; Recreation Department.

Storytime Adventures! is offered at 11 a.m. each Monday and Wednesday at Barnes &; Noble Apache Mall.

Tuesday, Feb. 15

Bedtime Stories will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Rochester Public Library auditorium. Stories, puppets and films for young children and their parents. Theme will be Going to Grandma's.


Friday, Feb. 18

"Madeline's Rescue" will be performed at 7 p.m. at the Masque Youth Theatre, 14 4th St. S.W. Tickets are $12 for adults, $9 for youth and seniors.
