Prairie Seed Collecting at Chester Woods Park will begin at 1 p.m. Meet at the Chester Woods Park gatehouse, and then drive to the selected prairie site for the day. Dress for walking through prairie vegetation on uneven ground. For all ages.

Infant &; Child Health &; Safety Fair from noon to 4 at Toys 'R' Us, 808 Apache Lane S.W. A free event that will feature local community groups such as the Olmsted County Public Health department, southeastern Minnesota's representative to the North American Council for Adoptable Children, the March of Dimes and others. There will be information tables and refreshments.
