Q: Which labels dominate your collection?

A: Ralph Lauren and Jones New York, that obviously has to do with where I work at Marshall Field's (where she moonlights).
Q: Is there something in your purse that you never use but never take out?
A: I have two things in my purse, a wallet and lip gloss. I have the smallest purse. (Laughs.) I don't like women who carry around those huge purses with the camera, phone, extra everything in there just in case you need it.
Q: If you could make over a celebrity, who would it be and why?
A: Pamela Anderson because …; she just looks so fake to me. People need to find their best attributes and play them out. People should look natural.
Q: What do people assume about you because of your appearance that isn't true?
A: I probably shouldn't say that, but probably that I'm stuck up because I like to dress nice.
Q: Describe a good day …

; A: A good day is when I actually wake up and want to go to the gym before work -- because lately I'm not wanting to go -- have a good day at work, come home and feel a little relaxed, catch some TV and go to bed early. It doesn't happen that often.
Q: Three things on your "It" list?
A: Sleeveless turtlenecks. I love sleeveless turtlenecks; I wear them all year. Lip gloss -- can't live without Gap lip gloss. And I'd say a nice pair of comfortable shoes.
Q: Oldest item in your closet?
A: (Goes to closet.) I guess it would be a black pair of Harley boots I got in high school. They're total biker boots. I seriously got them for $20 at Goodwill.
Q: Do you still wear them?
A: I haven't worn them for a while. But I can't give them up. I just can't. It's just one of those things you might need.
Q: For, like, a biker boyfriend?

A: No, no. (Laughs.)
