FILLMORE COUNTY — The Fillmore County Planning Board recently recommended that the county board approve a conditional use permit for a resident to install two 10-kilowatt wind turbines near a home she is constructing in Carimona Township, the News-Record says.
The two turbines would be on a mono-pole and would not need guide wires. The blades in the towers would be 22 feet long.
There was no community opposition to the wind turbines. The recommendation will move on to the county board.
