Fire damages Somali Center

ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- Authorities are investigating a suspicious fire that damaged a storage shed Thursday at St. Cloud's new Somali Cultural Center.

The fire caused about $8,000 in damage to the center and the storage shed, which contained coolers and kitchen appliances. The cause of the 3 a.m. fire remains under investigation.

A racist message was spray-painted on the exterior brick and front glass door in November.
