Fire crews were on the scene of a house fire in Hammond on Tuesday evening, Feb. 16.
Around 3 p.m., the Zumbro Falls Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire on Main Street in Hammond. The Elgin Fire Department and Wabasha County Sheriff's Office assisted on the scene.
One of the residents was home at the time of the fire and transported by ambulance, said Zumbro Falls Fire Captain Brad Tighe.
The home was fully engulfed by the fire, and debris could be seen falling off the side.
Emergency crews evacuated nearby neighbors, and the residents of the home were displaced.
As of 7 p.m. Tuesday, fire crews were still on the scene.
