The VFW First District Tournament will be Saturday and Sunday in Rochester, hosted by the Rochester Spartans.
The Spartans won the VFW 1st District West Division playoffs this past weekend by defeating Owatonna in the championship game 10-0. Rochester Century defeated Austin in the East Division playoffs championship game.
All district tournament games will be at Hudson Field beginning Saturday with Austin vs Spartans at 10 a.m., followed at 12:30 p.m. with Owatonna vs. Century. The losers bracket game is at 3 p.m. and the winners bracket game at 5:30.
Sunday's games begin at 11 a.m. with the championship game at 1:30 p.m.
The tourmament champion advances to the VFW 49th Annual Department Junior Baseball State Tournament in Moorhead, August 8-11.
