ROCHESTER -- The funeral for Florence K. Harwick will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ranfranz Funeral Home Chapel in Rochester, with the Rev. Robert N. Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Harwick, 88, of Rochester, died Friday (April 12, 2002) at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Florence K. Kleist was born July 1, 1913, in Titonka, Iowa. On Nov. 1, 1930, she married Roger B. Harwick in Kasson. A home builder, he died May 30, 1996. She was a retired cafeteria worker at the Harwick Building, and a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Roger D. (Charlotte), Rolland J. (Jean), and Cleon E., all of Rochester, and David R. (Addie) of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Myrtle Tjepkes of Spring Valley, and Lillian Krahn of Rochester. Six brothers and a sister also preceded her in death.
Friends may call one hour before the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
