WINONA -- The funeral for Florence L. Boland will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Watkowski-Pronschinske Funeral Home in Winona, with the Rev. Shawn T. Haremza officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Winona.
Mrs. Boland, 83, of Winona, died Sunday (April 21, 2002) at Winona Community Memorial Hospital.
Florence L. Zehren was born March 4, 1919, in Winona. On Feb. 18, 1943, she married Rolland A. Boland in Winona. Her husband died Jan. 17, 1996. Mrs. Boland was a member of Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Parish in Winona, was an avid sports fan and in her earlier years enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include a son, Mike (Mary) of Plainview; two daughters, Sharon Schell (Gary Ziegler) of Stockton and Ann (Greg) Jasnoch of Winona; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dolores Laak and Helen Kanthack, both of Winona. A sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
