A fire believed to have been started by a trouble light destroyed two vehicles and resulted in an estimated $150,000 loss.
Deputy Rochester Fire Chief Lyle Felsch said the fire was in a four-stall garage attached to a home owned by Barry Wentworth, 4354 48th St. N.E. Authorities got 911 calls from both Wentworth and his wife, reporting the fire about 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Felsch said the garage was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. Two vehicles, heavy equipment and tools were destroyed.
Firefighters remained at the scene until about 1:45 p.m. Saturday. The fire did not spread to the house, Felsch said.
