Genevieve Greibrok -- Lyle
LYLE -- The funeral for Genevieve Greibrok will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church in London, Minn., with the Rev. Reuben Unseth officiating. Burial will be in the Hayward, Minn., Cemetery.
Miss Greibrok, 79, of Lyle, died on Sunday (Sept. 14, 2003) as a result of an auto accident near Osage, Iowa.
Genevieve Eleanor Greibrok was born June 13, 1924, in Dallas, came to Minnesota with her family as a young girl, and lived first in Albert Lea and later on a farm near Glenville. She was a graduate of Lea College, Lutheran Bible Institute and Bethesda Nursing School in Minneapolis. She was a nurse at St. Barnabas Hospital and at Augustana Home in Minneapolis and did missionary work with Navajo Indians in Arizona. She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in London. She enjoyed drawing and building and helped design the addition to the church a few years ago.
Survivors include a brother, Carlyle (Dorothy) of Austin; and a sister, Ethel (Gaylerd) Jensen of Glenville. A sister and a brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home in Albert Lea and an hour before the service Wednesday at the church.
