Girl Scouting is for girls of all ages. Get your daughters involved! Girl Scouts can be fun! Become involved in leadership and have the chance to feel like a role model, and volunteer. I’ve been in front of younger Girl Scouts as a Program Aid. Girl Scouts can also volunteer at other places such as a homeless shelter or animal shelter.
Girl Scouts can also earn awards like the Bronze, Silver, or Gold award that usually leaves them feeling great when finished. If you complete the any of those awards, you feel a great sense of accomplishment. Earning the Gold award can get you a great scholarship for college and makes finding a job easier.
There are many ways to support Girl Scouts: buying QSP products (candy, nuts, and magazines) in October and Girl Scout cookies in January. Please support Girl Scouts by becoming involved or donating.
