WINONA — The Page Series at Saint Mary’s University will present "Einstein Alive!," the final event of the season, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Page Theatre.
"Einstein Alive!" is a one-man show performed by storyteller Marc Spiegel, who has been presenting for 12 years.

"Within the process, he takes on the persona of Einstein and introduces himself, talks about Albert’s life and movement from Germany, some of the big themes in his work, and goes on to explain some of the basic scientific principles that are relevant to his work," said Patrick Grace, the general manager of the Performance Center.
The event is not simply geared toward students of science.
"I think everyone will be engaged, from first grade on up to 94-year-olds," Grace said.
He said Spiegel has worked to find a way of explaining Einstein’s ideas and theories — such as the theory of relativity — in a way that is easy to understand for both school groups and the general public.
The performance involves some audience participation and helps show attendants that "science isn’t just done by guys in white lab coats," Grace said.
The inspiration to bring "Einstein Alive!" to the theater sprang from a desire to bring a performance that showcased science.
"We were thinking of science as one of the core groups we don’t really present," Grace said. "We’re not always able to tell important stories about important people in science."
Tickets for the performance are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students, available at the Saint Mary’s box office by calling (507) 457-1715 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays or by visiting www.pagetheatre.org.
