Girls teams skating in Sertoma

Rochester girls hockey teams will be competing this week in the seventh annual Sertoma Shootout in Dodge hockey tournament at Four Seasons Arena in Kasson.

The tournament features 11 teams and opens Thursday at noon with Rochester John Marshall facing off against Worthington. Onalaska and New Ulm meet at 2 p.m. Mayo goes against Waseca at 4 p.m., and Winona and Red Wing finish with a 6 p.m. game.

Winners play at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday. The championship is at 8:15 p.m. Saturday.

Dodge County, Worthington and the Austin junior varsity will play a round-robin tournament. Dodge County and Austin start it off at 8 p.m. Thursday.

The sponsoring Sertoma Club is holding a pancake breakfast for participants at 9 a.m. Friday. Dodge County Youth Hockey Association is also sponsoring the tournament.
