The rates listed in the 2002 Post-Bulletin golf tab for the Chosen Valley Golf Club in Chatfield were incorrect. Green fees are $13 for nine holes and $20 for 18 holes. On Mondays, green fees are $10 for nine holes and $15 for 18 holes. On Thursdays, green fees are $7 per nine holes.

ABOUT THE COURSE -- Austin's only public driving range. The course has two contrasting nines. The front is a sporty par 33 with water in play on four holes and mature oaks as the centerpiece. The back nine is the longest nine in Minnesota, a link-type layout that is wide-open. Many natural areas and three ponds highlight the back nine. The course has a few trees more than 100 years old.
