Goodhue and Zumbrota-Mazeppa won home games Tuesday to advance to semifinal games tonight against the top two seeds in the Third District, League C Division II American Legion baseball playoffs.
Goodhue beat Kenyon-Wanamingo 9-0 as Brian Buck threw a five-hitter and Joe Schimek's two-run double led a nine-hit attack.
Z-M defeated Randolph 4-3 when Chase Olson drove in Jay Faber with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning. Olson was 3-for-4 and Neil Wells threw a complete game, allowing no earned runs.
Goodhue plays at No. 2 seed Pine Island at 6:30 tonight, and Z-M goes to No. 1 seed Cannon Falls for a 7:30 contest.
