The University of Minnesota women's hockey team earned a non-conference sweep over the weekend, defeating Brown 8-2 on Friday and then shutting out Brown 5-0 Saturday.
Krissy Wendell had two goals on Saturday and Natalie Darwitz had a three-goal weekend.
The Gopher women are back in WCHA action this weekend at Ohio State on Friday and Saturday.
The No. 1-ranked Gophers are 19-1-2 overall and 14-0-2 in the WCHA. They are in first place in the WCHA standings.
