ROCHESTER -- No service is planned for Gordon D. Munger. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Munger, 74, of Rochester, died Wednesday (July 16, 2003) at Seasons Hospice.
Born March 15, 1929, in Rochester, he graduated from Rochester High School and attended Brown Institute in Minneapolis. He was a radio announcer in Texas, and, after returning to Rochester, owned a grocery store on Seventh Street and East Center. He later worked with his father at the Munger Imports car dealership until his retirement. He married Darlene Wilson, and they later were divorced.
Survivors include three sons, Geoffrey (Annette) of Lanesboro, Rickford of Faribault and Layton of Rochester; a daughter, Linda (Clark) Horstman of Rochester; and one grandchild. A brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at Ranfranz &; Vine Funeral Homes.
