A spike in local positive COVID-19 cases locally spurred Rochester city officials to delay the resumption of parking enforcement in Rochester’s 14 residential permit zones.

Enforcement by Rochester Police Department was set to resume July 1, but a new target date of Aug. 3 has now been set, according to Rochester Municipal Parking.

Enforcement of two-hour parking limit at the Soldiers Field Park lot and along George Gibbs drive will resume Wednesday as planned.
