The Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce will distribute 148,000 disposable masks from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday in the 125 Live parking lot.
The program, dubbed "Mask Up Rochester," will provide masks received from the state to local businesses and nonprofit agencies. The goal is to ensure that employees and customers have access to masks.
Masks will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Each box contains 50 masks, and businesses can request up to five boxes.
Businesses and nonprofits do not need to be chamber members to get free masks, but a business card will be requested at the distribution site, which is in the parking lot on the west side of the 125 Live building.
