The reconstruction of a 10-block section of North Broadway Avenue, from Civic Center Drive to the Zumbro River Bridge, will begin Monday.

Traffic in the northern section of the project will be impacted.

The intersection at Silver Lake Drive Northeast will be closed Monday and is expected to remain closed throughout the construction season. It will eventually be used to create a detour.

Also starting Monday, North Broadway traffic will also be restricted to single north- and south-bound lanes between 11th Street and the Zumbro River bridge. The bridge will remain open.

While pedestrian access along and across North Broadway Avenue is expected to be maintained, the Silver Lake Trail on the south side of the lake will be closed near the 13th Street and Broadway intersection, with a marked detour.
